Wallingford to Thame - great road
Great mix of tight bends, fast sweeping corners and a good number of straights. The scenery is beautiful Oxfordshire countryside with wide open rolling hills. Beginning at Wallingford, a scenic bridge takes you over the river Thames before the roads take you out in to the countryside. Particular highlights include a fast left hander in to declined chicane and a fast up hill right hander followed by a left hand hairpin with bumps in the braking zone. Particularly challenging for any driver. The route concludes in the market town of Thame which had many places for a bite to eat or some well earned refreshment. Stewart McLaughlin, PCGB
